Let Us Not Grow Familiar

rejoicing in the astounding truth proclaimed in Psalm 103

Our God is holy.
Our Savior forgives, heals, and redeems us.
He crowns us with steadfast love and mercy.
He satisfies and renews us.
He is merciful and gracious and removes our transgressions from us.
He is a compassionate father who knows
and remembers us…

AND it is this God who is on the throne
and it is his kingdom that rules over ALL
... rules over me

“Labour to maintain a sense of thine entire dependence upon the Lord’s good will and pleasure for the continuance of thy richest enjoyment… O Lord Jesus, we bow at Thy feet, conscious of our utter inability to do anything without Thee” - Spurgeon

The other day I was meditating on the fact that the God who saved me is the same God who is sovereign over all the details of my life...how cna I not trust the one who laid down his life for me? Thanks for sharing what you are learning!
